Yams that get rough fast, cocoyams, sweet potatoes, some
plantains and bananas. A little surplus that can be taken to
the market; recently, cassava, not very important
rnarket-gardening produce, worry of food dependence.
Coffee robusta is on the decline, breeding of small
ruminants is also on the wane.
Market holds every 8 days at Mven (Chomtee). Its activities
are on the wane too with palm nuts and palm oil trade.
Recently some new shops for food distribution, drinks and
others opened. |
